We don’t provide aggressive tax avoidance advice. That is the sort of advice which will land you in the Appeal Commissioners. Some firms specialise in offering aggressive advice, and then assuring you that they will defend you if Revenue or HMRC challenge it. We would rather give advice that uses the rules available and avoids tax controversy. As the old saying goes ” if you are explaining you are losing“.

Own Label Tax Services

TTax advise a growing number of small accountancy and legal practices on tax issues arising within their client bases.

Each practice has their own preferred way of working. Some prefer to have the tax consultant provide the advice which can be “topped and tailed” and presented under their own practice name to their client – often referred to as “Own Label”. Whereas others prefer to bring in the consultant to meet the client. Some practices allow partner only access to the tax consultant. Others allow staff to raise queries with us as well. Some smaller practices have a telephone query only arrangement for which a small retainer fee can be set up in advance. Therefore at TTax, we operate a flexible approach to suit the practice needs. We can agree Fees for one off projects in advance. Where we cannot agree a definite scope ongoing advice will be billed at agreed hourly rates.
